Last year I didn’t make a single resolution – and it was one of my most successful years yet. “How did that happen” you ask? Because I chose to do something much more powerful, I created a single intention.
This simple phrase, "I will balance 1st and then jump” helped guide my year and allowed me to experience opportunities I would have otherwise missed had I stuck with confining resolutions. Here are 3 Reasons why I choose NOT to make New Year Resolutions, and create a powerful intention for this year as well: Reason #1 – It’s OK that Life Changes. Flexibility is the key to success, not anchoring yourself to a resolution that may not serve you after all. Reason #2 – “DOING” only gets you so far. The fact is, that something like only 8% of people achieve their resolutions because they are attached to ‘what they will do’ not ‘who they will be’. Accessing your power 'to be' will take you much further, and feel much better to you. Reason #3 – Be the captain of your journey. The feeling of being in control of your future, down to the shape of your daily interactions and projects, are better served with ‘intention’ rather than a few hard fast resolutions. Why confine, when you can expand in new and beautiful ways? I want you to have your most successful year yet. As a coach, nothing gives me greater pleasure than sharing tools for positive change. So watch the video above to learn more about creating your intentions for your best year yet. P.S. I'd love to hear about your intention for 2014 – share yours with #My2014Intention on my Facebook community or over on Twitter.
